Iconomy 1.7.105/20/2023 My friend has an Intel iGPU, I believe the UHD 620, and he has the same issue.ĭowngrading drivers or using a dedicated GPU are still the only solutions that I've been able to find the only other clue is that it appears to only affect release 1.0.0-1.7.10, but not newer or older versions, suggesting that there is something unique to these versions, but nobody has attempted to find/try to fix it (as far as I can find, probably locked away on a Discord somewhere, where it can't be found with a public search) I can't check myself (I have an Intel HD 4000 but it is disabled/unusable, and such an old GPU may not experience the same issue, most/all reports have mentioned newer GPUs, mainly UHD) but one possible clue is that they added a "lightmap" texture (this is combined/overlayed with normal textures and enables the game to seamlessly change sky light brightness without having to re-render chunks, as well as add a "flicker" effect to block light), no idea how this relates to held items completely breaking rendering though (the code seems to be the same, that said, this is based on online code snippets from Beta 1.7.3 compared to release 1.6.4 ideally you'd compare the entire rendering codebases for the closest working/broken versions to minimize differences (release 1.8+ doesn't have this issue either but its rendering code is very different so it is not a good comparison). Using both emeralds and gold ingots as a dollar and cents system would add a whole other level of realism into it.Any news on this? A lot of my friends have this issue and I'm unable to help as it runs perfectly fine on my PC (Win 11, Nvidia). Personally, I think that using gold nuggets would be the most efficient method, as it could potentially be used other money-using mods (the first thing to come to mind is general3214's outdated vending machine mod, which uses coins made from gold ingots). There's also the option of non-physical coin, which I see on most iConomy servers. Even lapis lazuli has purpose now with the enchanting update. More into the currency aspect, I thing that using emeralds or gold nuggets would give both items more purpose in the game, as most people I've spoken to find them to be two of the most useless ores in the entire game. The item you've sold disappears forever, and the items you buy are spawned from nothing. On many servers I've seen, you're given the option to click on a sign, get the selling item removed from your inventory, and replaced by the currency in question. Or you could just sell it to void, basically. To solve the lack of people buying, the mod could make the "for sale" items randomly disappear from stock, and put the currency into your "bank", in order to give it more of a real-market feel. This would allow the player to decide if they want it to be hard (low sell, high buy) or unbelievably easy (high sell, low buy) to achieve their wants or needs. If they think 900 is too expensive for diamond, they can go to the options menu and pick a number between 600 and 2,000. For example, if a player thinks that 3 gold nuggets or emeralds (just as an idea, to give them purpose) is too little pay for selling seeds, they could go to the menu and adjust it to any number between 1 and 10. The mod could have built-in prices that could be adjusted within a range using the options menu. Selling items makes it feel like I'm not just wasting whatever I'm throwing away, when I could be getting something I need or want in exchange (such as selling cobble to buy food when I'm on the go and deep in a cave). Something that I love about some servers is that I can sell items I don't need, such as overabundant cobblestone, overabundant seeds, mushrooms, or wooden tools, and buying items I do want with what I get from selling, be it something simple as iron when I find myself abruptly without resources, carrots or potatoes, cookies, or something major like an enchantment table, blocks of diamond, or spawn eggs. Just a notice, with the upgrade to 1.7.10 it broke battle arena. If you want to test out this plugin go to the 1.8 server: us. 1.7.10 version is now out but has less features. A while back, I found a request for single player iConomy, but since it was incredibly old (and the OP spammed his request), it doesn't seem to have gotten any attention. Server fixed - Removed iConomy - 9 August 2014, 12:37. BoseConomy/Iconomy GroupManager - More permissions support coming in the future.
